Recap of Camp 2022
Registration is Now Open
Queen City Sports Camp is a FREE sports camp for 6-14-year-olds, serving the city of Charlotte. Our goal is to provide an excellent and fun experience for all students in our surrounding neighborhood.
Camp Kickoff will be Monday, June 27th through Thursday, June 30th! The camp will run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm every day.
Each day, kids will experience different sports and activities, including; Basketball, Football, Soccer, Field Day, and Field Hockey. Each sport will be taught by coaches and experienced athletes including the USA Olympic Field Hockey Team!
On the last day of Camp, at 6:30 pm, we will celebrate with a Block Party for all the students and their parents! Everyone is welcome! There will be free food, bounce houses, video game trucks, live music, raffles, and more!

Kids ages 6-14 (1st to 8th grade)
Kids will be broken up and play sports with their groups.
Those groups will be:
6-7 (1st and 2nd)
8-9 (3rd and 4th)
10-12 (5th and 6th)
13-14 (7th and 8th)

The Camp will take place at Sedgefield Middle School

You can drop off and pick up your kid in the school’s carpool zone.

Camp Starts Monday, June 27th, and ends Thursday, June 30th
Camp starts at 8:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm every day.

Sneakers and athletic clothing (shorts, t-shirts) are encouraged!
We recommend they bring their own water bottles (which must be labeled), and snacks.
Sunscreen is recommended
Water, Snacks, and Sunscreen DO NOT NEED TO BE BROUGHT, they will be provided.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks will be provided.

All Kids will play football, soccer, and basketball.
Ages 10-14 will learn field hockey from the US Field Hockey Team
Instead of field hockey, Ages 6-9 will have a field day.
Example Schedule
Thursday:
6-7: Basketball
8-9: Field Day
10-12: Football
13-14: Soccer
These sports will rotate every day

All of our volunteers have gone through a background check and child safety training.
Various policies and procedures have been put in place to ensure your kid’s safety at all times.
There will be two CMPD Officers and a Nurse present at all times.
