We believe every Christian should belong to a local church and take ownership of that church. This includes serving, giving, and participating in biblical community.

Instead of simply attending Life Church, members are a part of the Life Church family. We offer Membership classes quarterly where you'll learn about the vision and values of Life Church, as well as how you fit into the church based on your specific gifts.

Membership process

There are just a few things that we need to know about you and that you need to know about us. The following list may look a little daunting, but much of it can be completed anytime you like. Once you attend LIFE 101, you can become a Member as soon as everything else is completed.

1. baptism

Baptism is an important step in becoming a member at Life Church. Jesus commands His followers to be baptized as a way to symbolize that your old self has been buried and that you have risen with Christ to walk in newness of life. Baptism is a proclamation of that truth. If you have already been baptized as a believer then you’re all set for this step. If not and you’re ready to take that step of obedience, we’d love to celebrate with you!

2. community

Discipleship is everything for us. We believe that those who make disciples at Life Church are the church. To become a member at Life Church, we ask that you plug into and commit to a Life Group first. Life Groups are consistent, Christ-centered friendships that provide unique ways for you to follow Jesus and live out the mission God has called us to as a church. Make sure to check out the available communities below!

3. Membership Class

We want to be sure you know who we are as a church and what you’re becoming a part of. The Membership Class will go more in depth about who we are how your unique giftings can be used to serve the church and other. Once you've signed up, one of our pastors will be in contact with you with more details about the next class meeting.

As a guide for the class we would like all participants to read the book "Church Membership" by Jonathan Leeman. While we might not agree with every principle found in the book to a tee, we think it's a great foundational resource to read in order to all be on the same page about Church Membership. Please plan to finish reading the book prior to the beginning of the class. You can purchase the book at Amazon or you can purchase it from the book nook in the lobby in the coming weeks for a discount.

4. MEMBERSHIP agreement

You will receive the Membership Agreement at the end of the Membership Class. Read it over and sign with one of our pastors to complete your membership process!
