We serve because Jesus served
Jesus gave of Himself and modeled what it looks like to love others well and put their needs before His own. Serving is our chance to follow His example and love others the way He loved us.
We serve to make a difference
Every act of service creates space for people to encounter Jesus. Whether it’s greeting someone at the door, caring for kids, or supporting behind the scenes, serving is how we live out our faith and help shape a church that feels like home.

Life Kids
Teachers, helpers, check-in
It takes a team of faithful volunteers to create a gospel-centered, joyful environment for our kids. If you love working with kids and helping them grow in their love for God, Life Kids may be a great fit for you!

Hospitality
Greeting, set-up, tear-down
We want everyone who walks through our doors at Life to feel welcomed. If you love meeting people and making them feel at home, the Hospitality team can be a great place to serve.
Sunday Support
Parking, ushers
Sundays don’t run smoothly without a team of dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to make sure everyone can find a seat and place to park.
Tech
Audio, projection, livestream
If you have an ear for music and experience running a soundboard, operating slides (ProPresenter experience is a plus!), or livestreaming, we would love to have you on the tech team!
Worship
Instrumentalists, vocalists
Each week, our worship team leads the congregation in worship. If you are a gifted vocalist or instrumentalist, trying out for this team can be a great way to use your God-given talents.

Media & Design
Photography, graphic design, social media
We are always looking for talented photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and social media specialists who want to use their skills to advance the Kingdom.
Portfolio required.
EMergency Response
Medical, security
Our emergency response volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals who help ensure the safety and health of our church. If you are a medical professional or have security experience, we would love to have you join our ERT.
Must be a member.

Saturday Pop-ups
Volunteers
Every Saturday morning, Life Church volunteers bring energy and joy to the South Side Community through our Saturday Pop-ups, a time of games, connection, Bible Study, and real community impact. If you are passionate about serving the community, this can be a great place to plug-in.
