DiscipleSHIP GROUPS

We believe a disciple is a follower of Jesus, being changed by Jesus, to love what He loves and do what He does. We can only truly grow as wholistic disciples through living authentic, transparent, and accountable lives with one another. This is why a discipleship group is one of the three rhythms of a missional community. These groups are crucial for our process of making healthy disciples who will then go and make other disciples… who make disciples (2 Tim 2:2).

These groups are simple. With 1-3 others of the same gender from within a missional community, follow the Group Meeting Guide every week. These groups are open to new members of a missional community; however, when the discipleship group gets larger than 4 people, multiply the group!

FOUNDATIONS

FOUNDATIONS is a short list of topical studies containing essential spiritual disciplines we believe every disciple should be practicing consistently. These resources also help foster a culture of shared language within our church. We require everyone new to this group to work through the FOUNDATIONS resources every week until they complete them all.

NOTE: Each resource will have action steps that the individual group member should complete before moving on to the next resource. The focus of this material is not passing on information—the goal is to help people develop healthy rhythms in order to experience and enjoy life in Jesus.
